During the time that Tail To Paw did rescue, we took in the cats that were seen as 'less than desirable' or 'less likely to be adopted'.

Some have Cerebellar Hypoplasia, rendering them unable to walk or use the kitty litter, others have been incontinent and some are untouchable by people.
​
We provide them all the love and care they need to live happy, healthy and very good quality of lives. They are seen annually by our Veterinarian who always gives us the best information on their life situation.

Benny is approximately 17years old. He was dumped in Branford, and found by one of our volunteers. He was skin and bones and was going to be euthanized. We took him in, vetted him and gave him lots of food and TLC. He is now a Life-long Tail member who is very selective about who he will let near him, so he was not considered for adoption.
